Good quality of old age, with original title Kakovostna starost, is an interdisciplinary journal. It is the only Slovenian scientific and expert gerontological magazine. It covers the ageing of people in the in the wider social and cultural context. The readers of the magazine are volunteers in the intergenerational programmes for quality ageing and experts interested in ageing issues. The magazine is published in Slovenian language, yet it has summaries of expert and scientific papers also in English.

The magazine is from the year 2003 onwards included in two international databases: Sociological Abstracts,Social Services Abstracts, and since 2006 in EBSCO.
